independent contractor validation

Independent Contractors are a critical part to being agile, procuring on-demand expertise and achieving your mission. However, misclassification of contingent workers as independent contractors without reasonable basis, per IRS guidelines, can be costly. Trust smRTpass to continuously evaluate these relationships and determine if there exists reasonable basis for independent contractor classification.

We understand the nuances to these relationships and leverage a proprietary 80-point Independent Contractor Classification Questionnaire to advise your business on associated risk and whether to proceed with the contingent worker as an independent contractor or if they should instead be established as another type of worker.
